“Had an offshore trip cancelled due to some bad weather, so we decided to try and find a last minute 6hr inshore charter. JC was recommended to us and we weren’t disappointed. He got on the sheepshead right away and some quality ones too. We ended the day catching redfish after redfish, and while they weren’t large due to the time of year, they were still fun! “Weather ended up being really bad during the daytime, Captain JC made the right call and offered a night time fishing trip same day when the weather was way better. We had opportunities all night long targeting redfish, snook, tarpon and trout. We lost count of fish in the first 2 hours. After we lost count he asked if i wanted to try for my first tarpon and redfish on the fly rod and i was more than down. Jumped 3 tarpon in the first 20 minutes but all unfortunately spit the hook. Landed about 6-7 more redfish on the fly rod and told Captain JC to pick up a rod because the fishing was unreal and i had already caught an unbelievable amount of fish halfway into the trip. I highly highly recommend Captain JC to anyone. If you’re an experienced fishermen or not, Captain JC is one heck of a teacher and full of knowledge.”

The redfish were released but we kept some drum and sheepshead for the table.
